It's TRAIN SHOW Time

In Louisville KY, we are having The GREAT TRAIN SHOW Saturday & Sunday.  Nice (I guess), but I won't be able to go, Family Business.  I'm luke-warm about these big Commercial Shows.  They aren't really set for the TRUE Model Railroader.  These Shows are mainly for Mom/Dad, who only think about Model Railroading on Christmas and Jr's birthday.  For the dedicated Model Railroader, you can't beat your Local Model Railroad Club's Train Show and Sales  We are having a Show in Louisville in March http://div8-mcr-nmra.org/site/trainshow/TrainShowFlyer.pdfl (shameless plug)  There are Shows all over, just check around for a Show near you.  For a GOOD listing of Shows of Shows around check out the NMRA, MCR, Div 11 calendar: http://www.div11-mcr-nmra.info/events.htm  Most of the Shows are EAST of the Mississippi River, but if you know of any Shows not listed let them know and they will post notice.
Attend your local Train Show/Swap Meet get the GOOD buys,  meet people who enjoy our Hobby, and remember: MODEL RAILROADING IS FUN.

If I studied all my life, I couldn't think up half the number of funny things passed in one session of congress.
