I really hope that someday they shrink the Front Street Warehouse to N scale.

Walthers takes a lot of abuse when it comes to N scale, but they are almost the only manufacturer who makes large structures in N scale.

Yes, will add my kudos to Walthers for this one.  Thanks to them, structures have kept up with locos and rolling stock in quality over the years.

While some complain about their former lack of commitment to rolling stock, IMHO, without their commitment to structures in N (yes, even with HO getting a few more due to sales volume) those of us actually building layouts centered around operations and switching would be out of luck.  I still remember all those Euro looking buildings on my early layouts. 

Will I buy one?  I managed to horde the old Nu Line warehouses which are similar, and have one Central Beverage standing in as a Wall board company, and I think my layout is about full.  Now, if I can convince the wife to let me enclose the upstairs outside balcony for expansion, put me in for six!

In other exciting structures news from Walthers, they've followed up the modern concrete warehouse with the UPS version:

It's a very similar kit to the plain jane warehouse (this has extra signs, different doors etc), so you know for the $20 increase there's a good deal of licensing fees involved. Still, this is a welcome addition to the layout!
