I left one important item off my wish list - the 1950s steel refrigerator cars built by NSC for CN, CP and PGE.  There is a big hole in my roster for those right now.

I do still have the masters. Maybe I should make new molds with better materials. The old shells were made with the putrid Micro Mark 50/50 rubber and their resin. They are full of air bubbles and I've never been happy with the way they seat on the chassis (they bow out).

Their stuff reminds me of the old JNJ resin shells.. Adequate if it's the only thing available and you have lots of time to clean up the parts. But not when there are better options available.

These are all great ideas! Personally I would really like to see the U30, 33, 36B for the Atlas U23B
and the U23, 33, 36C for the Kato U30C done as well as a number of the freight cars suggested.

Jeff would have no problem designing and producing these kits. The issue lies in the how many can we obtain an interest in or a confirmation to purchase before they go into production. For locomotive kits we need a minimum of approximately 40 orders before they become worthy to produce. For freight car kits we need an interest in approximately 70 to 100 kits.
 
We are currently working on projects for June and July, but need something in the que for August. In the next week or so I will send out an expression of interest for several ideas for loco and freight car kits that have been suggested and we will let the masses vote on which ones go into production. In the meantime you are welcome to email me with your ideas and I will start to make a spreadsheet. Hope that helps?

Of things previously mentioned, I would be interested in a couple later Fowler boxcars (and copies), and Mini-boxes.  Maybe a refrigerator, if it was enough different from the GHQ model (I have a 3 pack of those already). 

For a completely off the wall suggestion (but given all the requests for diesel shells up above would seem to be within Briggs Co. capabilities), would there be any interest from other modelers, or inclination on the part of the company, in shells for U4a and U4b steam locomotives? (These were the streamlined Northerns used by CN and GTW respectively).

My layout is (will be is perhaps more accurate) circa 1956, and from Briggs point of view, limited to a couple GTW/CN passenger trains and the occasional freight car.  So I may not be a "prime customer."

I'm still interested in about half a dozen M636's of CPRail, CN and Cartier descent.  But I don't know if 40 orders could be scrounged up.

I'd be in for 5-6 of the Phase III GP9's for NP and Milw Road. Also the U33C and U36C too. Something else you might consider is the Milw Road low short hood and cab with unique number boards to be able to model Milw Road GP20's and SD10's.
