N-Scale DPM knock-off structure build

Started this separate thread to document my N-Scale "DPM knock-off" structure build which was originally posted under the below Product Discussion (page 2):
https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=44106.0
When I need a specific brick structure and the kit-bashing materials/walls found inside kits such as DPM, Lunde, Walthers, Heljan, Pola, etc, do not meet the specific space requirements, then it's time to break out the Evergreen styrene & N-Scale Architect brick material and build it your self. I snapped some pictures during the construction of a "DPM knock-off" structure build.
I can provide additional details on the styrene thickness or elaborate on the construction steps BUT the photos are self explanatory:
This project got started when I decided that the cardboard mock up placeholder was not up to par with the surrounding buildings and I was looking for something better. The colorful mock up sits against a photo backdrop on my Johnstown, PA T-TRAK module and is across the street behind other foreground structures. My intention was to add the awnings above the boarded up 2nd story windows & also install LEDs inside the doorway - but why waste those details on a mock up - right?

Monstermodelworks brick is excellent in appearance -- the bricks look to be scale, and the laser-cutting process cuts vary a bit slightly to avoid looking rigidly uniform brick layout. BUT in N scale be sure to get the thickest board you can use. The textured wood is tricky enough to work with as to cuts and windows, but the thinnest sheets are murder. I used a SHARP chisel blade to punch window openings and a dremel cut-off wheel to cut wall lengths. The brick texture is very easy to crush along the cut lines if you use anything even slightly dull, or a handsaw.
You can see what my results were here

The 3rd to last picture on that page shows the long factory building and the tall black one whose bricks are MMW's. The buildings on the left w/ regular windows are kitbashed Walthers Modulars.

Work continues on the DPM knock-off structure. Tried to the simulate glass block window on the right side of the entryway using a cut up Grandt Line window attached to clear glazing with Mod Podge and then the individual window panes were filled in with more Mod Podge applied w/toothpick...it's still drying but initial results look promising. The left entryway brick wall was fabricated and then another window opening cut out & filed square. The entryway door along with the rollup garage door were first primed & then I think some yellow craft paint will be a good match to the cardboard mockup picture that I'm working from.
