Rock Island had a very similar car, which as it happens, is made as a kit in N scale. Available with or without end doors.

Ladders and doors are cast in place, IIRC, brakewheel, stirrups and roofwalks are MT parts. He casts them in batches, so sometimes you need to wait until he has enough orders, but they are nice kits.
