So is it true that the next delivery of Atlas 100 and 70 trucks will not have wheels with the back profile?

added scale icon....

Where did you hear this from? It doesn't make sense, as Atlas is simply resuming production of BLMA product from the original overseas manufacturers, and to offer no back profile would require new tooling, which would cost more money...

Their trucks have been out of stock for months.

I been trying to get my hands on some 70T RB trucks for projects,
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Tom, that was a photo of the pre-production truck. I actually have one of these. Craig was using them to test the wheels on layouts before full production began.

You can see the lack of rear detail on my photos here:

LOL, I didn't know that.  Thanks for clearing it up.

Two suggestions for @Atlas Paul :

1. Release the 100 ton truck with 33" wheels.
2. Include the mounting pins.  For some reason, I can never find a pin that isn't too big.

What cars use a 100t truck with 33" wheels?

Putting 33" wheels in a 100T truck is a fast and easy way to lower a car.

Don't know about you but my eyes cannot see a 0.009" drop from magnifying, much less 3 feet.  1.5" (0n the radius) / 160 = 0.009375" [0.238mm]

It's not the difference in diameters, it's the difference in the bolster. The 70T truck has a bolster that kinda goes up in the middle, the 100T truck has a bolster that kinda goes down in the middle. It makes a noticeable difference. Unfortunately it leaves one with the need to buy extra 33" wheels and have 36" wheels left over, hence the desire to buy the 100T trucks with 33" wheels.

Well, it's twice that on the wheel diameter.  2 hundredths of an inch, basically.  I can certainly pick out the different size wheels in my parts box.

It gets you a 33” wheel truck with 3 visible springs.

The car may be lowered by the bolster, but only half the diameter because the truck is sitting only on the axle center, not the other side of the wheel so only the radius of the wheel can affect height, regardless @tom mann has spoken.

"It gets you a 33” wheel truck with 3 visible springs."  So does the old MDC truck, although it won't lower the car.  For that matter, shave the raised ring off the bolster, add 36 inch wheels, and it makes a nice "stand-in" 100T truck, with the shaved ring compensating for the larger wheels.
