They are designed along PRR proportions but might work for other roads, particularly the arched design.

They are to fit inside the original Lima glazing on the sides after you cut off the old roof right under the lip of the old roof.  Here is an instruction link on how to use them. The roofs were finished with Tamiya TS-6 after minimal sanding.

Please note that the etchings, steps and truck frames that are shown are part of a separate kit and are not included with the roofs.

Arched roofs are now available:

No-Diamond Clerestory roofs:

Clerestory roof with vestibule vent. These are identical to the above roofs but with the added curved vent ducts above the doors:

As always thanks for considering Keystone Details!

I'm wondering why you didn't mold on the two "escape hatch" turrets on the ends of the arched roofs. They are clearly seen on various PRR coach variations including betterment cars.

1. Because they would be a bitch to sand around, currently they are very easy to sand with no real obstructions
2. I plan to add some more separate details so you can add them after sanding like the other vents I already have

@Catt , if the car is the same length as the lima version, then yes.  You may have to measure.  I can test one tonight too.

Think they would fit on the rounded end of a MT diner?  I've got a scratch bash idea in mind.

If you are referring to the arched roof, I will be designing some fore various recent MT releases.

This will include Harrington style as well.

About MP versions of this car, at a swap meet I bought a coach in an MP box but the car had "Lima" on the bottom. The seller told me that in the beginning MP was selling coaches made by Lima, then switched to the Chinese knockoffs. Quite possibly this car was reboxed along the way, however,

I've heard that about the MP cars. The only problem is I am still banned from the basement so I can't go down there and find the cars and measure them. Some days my balance is really good but some days it does not exist.

I unsuccessfully attempted to scrape off the diamonds in the past. So the no diamond clerestory roofs are very welcome Another winning product. Thanks
Never argue with idiots; they'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
