If you don't mind going to earlier eras, a CP minibox or a CN 8-hatch overhead bunker refrigerator car could be good choices to help fill out rosters.

Both of those were abandoned GHQ projects, right?

Ghq did deliver the CNR 8 hatch reefer. Its a pretty good looking kit, and can easily be bashed into the CPR or express versions if you need those instead.

Briggs has also already brought out the minibox, another must have car.

Speaking of which, my minibox kit is ready for painting...

The Briggs minibox is a great kit. I'm very happy to hear that Jeff Briggs is back in the game. I could use a few more of his CP vans if a reruns are being considered, and I like Marks ideas for the snowblower and flanger.

I see he is doing contract work. I already messaged him about commuter cars and a Walthers PD5000 upgrade kit.

Classic CPR wood, and plywood sheathed too but I didn't get any of those. I have 4 of them, but could use a few more.

Same models as Kaslo or are those what you are referring to?

Hi Jeff,

As we discussed via email, I'd love to see the SCL-rebuilt GP16 offered as a shell or complete kit. SCL/Family Lines/SBD/CSX, and lots of short lines had/have them. RJ Corman has a respectable fleet of them currently in service.

While I'm dreaming, how about a Louisville & Nashville bay window caboose (the one built by the L&N at their South Louisville Shops)...

Hmmmm. I was sure they were Briggs kits, but if you say Kaslo I stand corrected.

AFIK Jeff WAS Kaslo. So we are correct. Just wasn't sure if he re-offered them afterwards. Not sure who has the molds or what sort of ownership rights there are. Only he could say. Anyway that's not the point.

The point is those are awesome models and no longer available so it would be nice to see them again.

In the event that the plywood vans are not reissued, there is always this alternative: https://www.shapeways.com/product/QXCJ9YQ8B/cpr-van-436980-437264-n-scale-1-160?optionId=42151469&li=marketplace

Chris' CN wood sheathed vans look great, so I dont have any reason to think the CP van would be any different.
