Printing Circuits at Home

Just saw an interesting article on a new product that allows printing of circuit boards in consumer printers.

Oh, my! 

There have been various "printer/copier" compatible papers, films and other tricks to do something similar over the past couple of decades, but what is truly outstanding about this product is: 1) it's flexible, and 2) it's thin!

I have a project I'm working on right now that could use this. I was wringing my hands over how to do a custom PCB in thin and flexible without paying a fortune for a board house. So I thank you, and my wallet certainly thanks you!

EDIT: It's still just a research project (http://printem.io). Rats!    I'll sign-up for their mail list, however. Maybe they'll offer pre-production samples to subscribers? Please?

Over a year later...

Received an e-mail today pre-announcing availability, and soliciting input via one-on-one phone calls setup on a scheduling page. I might just bite since the "reward" for participating is free samples.

There was a link to a new video that added a lot of fluff to the original, as linked above. No new info.
