To continue with the British theme, I was in England a few weeks ago for work related training. During the occasional downtime, I was able to visit some preserved heritage lines and railway museums.
Up first was Peak Rail between Matlock and Rowsley, in the Peak District of Derbyshire. Caught rides behind a Hudswell Clarke side tank loco named Jennifer and a Class 44 number D8.

Later on in the week we visited the National Tramway Museum in Crich. They have many exquisitely restored Trams, most in operating condition. This place is worth a visit.
