Pullman car (sleeper) colors on PRR trains

I thought I read somewhere that Pullman allowed the PRR to paint all the sleepers it rented in the Tuscan red color with Pennsy markings. But did the PRR run green Pullmans w/ "Pullman" on the letterboard, or maybe with the same Pullman markings but in Tuscan?

Pullman often painted cars leased to individual railroads in matching colors, so yes, you would see Tuscan, and even FOM cars with "Pullman" on the letterboards. If the Pennsy needed extra cars, or if some went in for repairs, Pullman would send them loaners, which most likely would have been Pullman green. Pullman was broken up in 1944, at which time all of the cars were sold to the railroads, so you wouldn't see "Pullman" on letterboards much after WWII.

Also the railroad name would not be on these cars. Was only after the Pullman breakup that the railroads painted their name on these sleepers.

OK, I'm modeling 1955 so that means no more green "PULLMAN" lettered sleepers?
Another thing - I saw a model of a car in Pennsy colors but lettered for New Haven. What's the deal there?

Correct, no PULLMAN lettering in 1955.
Victoria Tower was an 8-3-1 and painted in PRR colors because it was used in long distance PRR trains to/from Boston. While painted in PRR red and buff, the fonts and lettering arrangement were New Haven.
