Any thoughts:

Introducing our latest material: Black High Definition Acrylate! Its smooth finish and high detail will help bring your ideas to life.

What is Black High Definition Acrylate?
Black High Definition Acrylate [ak-ruh-leyt, -lit] is a UV sensitive acrylic polymer similar to our Frosted Ultra Detail (FUD), with a slightly different printing process and a smoother, high quality finish.

Different process? How is it different?
FUD is printed with a Multijet Modeling Process. Black High Definition Acrylate (HDA) uses a Direct Light Projection (DLP) method.

Ok, so is different better?
Yes! DLP provides for excellent resolution and accuracy, as well as a smoother finish. Because its combination of strength and elongation properties, Black HDA is also more durable and flexible.

What about cost? Does better mean more expensive?
Good news, it does not. Black HDA is a more affordable option for when you're looking for a smooth, high detail material for your prints.
