Congrats on the new loco!

I saw a low end Model Power power pack in clearance on MB Klein, or you can find something easily on eBay. I got a MRC Tech II a few years back in a lot of used items and found it to be very reliable.

I just won an Atlas GP7 phase 1 (undecorated) on eBay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121885171891?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I have a little Unitrack (4 ea 9-3/4" pieces, LOL) to put it on, but no power supply to run it. I'm looking for some used Unitrack now... maybe in a month or so, I'll have a small layout up and running, cat be darned.

Hmm... and so the torrent
of buying begins...

I'm still trying to figure out why Atlas called their Phase 3 GP7 with dynamic brakes a Phase 1 GP7 that wasn't available with dynamic brakes...

Hmmm... Dee seems to be an inseparable part of your presence Kiz: your sidekick, the comical counterpoint - your other personality.  If not in the RR logo, there at least needs to be be a large Dee billboard on your future layout.
here is a prototype business for the billboard

Dee:  Better put the hot tub on the ground.  Most tree limbs couldn't hold the weight of the water, and you wouldn't want to be in, or under, it when the limb breaks.

If you want it elevated, put it under the limb, on a platform.  If you can get some old switch ties, they'd be perfect.  16 foot ties, 4 feet in the ground, at each corner, four regular ties across the tops, and treated 2x6 joists would hold a lot of weight.  Add marine plywood for the deck itself, and some rungs for climbing, and you'd have a hot tub fit for a Great Ape.  At the right height, you could climb from the ground, or drop from the limb.
We built a porch using old ties as posts years ago, with wooden grain doors for the deck, and the purchasers of the place had to use a bulldozer to get it out so they could replace our trailer!

Hmm... my treehouse is
a whole tree affair. It even
has a basement...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Update.

I'm bidding on two more locos. I'll find out one way or the other tomorrow morning.

Hmm... Kiz won't say
which engines he's
bidding on, cuz he
doesn't want any
competition...

Dee:  Sounds like quite a treehouse, and quite a tree.  Dig a basement under the ones around here and the tree would fall down...

In any case, I hope you get your hot tub.

Hmm... the basement is
not directly under the pine
tree, so it doesn't foul
the root system too much...
