I always liked the cannonballs. The tow truck is down right adorable.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

I'm pretty sure that's a GMC 2-ton model and not an actual Cannonball.  According to my (brother's) truck historian buddies, true Cannonballs were the 600 series and higher OTR tractors.  There were 2-ton model tractors, with the bubble fender like this model, but the Cannonballs were identified by the flatter fender and external headlamps.  Like this:

But the Cannonball is definitely a model we need, especially with sleeper confirgurations, such as...

or...

A conventional late 50s GMC F300 series and mid to late 60s Ford N series would be hot too.

Ah... I thought it was a term used for all GM stub nosed COE of the era.

Cracker box, Big Horn, Brigadier... There are so many interesting cabs if the late 50's to early 70's. I would love to see an Autocar. Long nose, angled fenders... These things lasted forever. I think they were harder to kill than a Mack.

Hell yeah, bring that on.  And a Big Horn too, love me some Dodge big truck action.

Hey, whatever happen to those N scale Madaboutcars models you were getting?  Did they ever come in?  What were they like?  Curious minds want to know...
