Hello I have seen a video on how to use the paperboard that cereal boxes are made of, used to make buildings. its a simple process of taking to pieces of paperboard glue them back to back then letting thrm dry overnight, and using wood pieces glued to the back to help reinforce it.
my question is would the thin corrugated cardboard used in pizza BOXES WORK AS Well.
thank you
Mark

Should work if you have a source for unused pizza boxes. It has some moister resistance quality that is needed for long term use.

I don't think that pizza box cardboard has any additional moisture resistance. But on the not so good side, any openings in the building's wall  (like windows or doors (or the edges of the building) will show the internal corrugations. That might not be a desired effect.

Mat board or illustration board would be better and require less reinforcement.

Using cereal boxes to make structures? Reminds me of my childhood (in the fifties). If you decide to go cheap, bear in mind that you are going to make up for those savings by doing more work in the process.

To answer your question, any sort of corrugated cardboard would generally require less bracing, depending on what you were building and what scale you were working in. Obviously the larger the expanse of walls or roof panels would govern the use of bracing.

This was done about 15 years ago by a Canadian friend for his layout. Before he died from Cancer he sent it to me along with another building. It and the other building were built from cereal box cardboard while he was either watching football or racing on tv.
