EDIT: I now see that this is an old story with a previous thread. I looked for one before posting but didn't look back far enough. Sorry.

There is a chapter in my book, "Model Railroads go to War" http://alkemscalemodels.biz/books/ about the NASA RR during the space shuttle program. One can easily model it in N Scale as many of the required cars are or were available in N Scale.
