The weapons depot east of Pueblo, CO has three main types of buildings.

1. igloos are the concrete, earth covered storehouses for munitions. Lots of igloos at Pueblo.
2. brick structures where the munitions are taken from the igloos and loaded onto railcars.
3. wooden structures which are large warehouses for other commodities.

Most of the munitions are gone and igloos can be rented for whatever purpose (legal) you want. Our club thought about using one for the layout, but it's just too far out of town.

Lots and lots of tracks going all over the depot. We also see the occasional train crossing the depot from BNSF to the DOT test facility.

go to Google Earth and dial up Jefferson Proving Ground, Shelby, Indiana.
Basically a big loop of track extending about 4 miles east of the N-S Wabash mainline, and passing north of the airfield.
You will find all sorts of storage buildings along the loop, in addition to the ammo bunkers at the far east end.
If I recall, JPG was used to test tank and artillery ammo from WWII at least into the late '70s when I got out of the Army.

Paul

Check out the Umatilla Army Depot on Google Earth, just west of the UP's Hinkle Yard near Hermiston, Oregon, just off of I-84.
