Number board decals

Hi, I'm looking for a source of decals for the tiny number boards used above the smoke box on steamers such as the Kato S2. The board has recesses for 4 numbers and I suspect they are black on a white background.
Any suggestions or do you have to find the #'s and apply separately? (Hope not!)

Shellscale did a ton of various number boards for diesels about 10 years go.  depending on the size of yours you may be able to find one that fits.

You could make your own using white decal paper and Windows Excel. Just need a laser jet printer to get them printed nice and crisp. A coat of Dull cote and you are ready to install.

Thanks for the tip, wish I had Excel or a laser printer. The search is on!  Anybody wanting to make a few bucks and so inclined let me know.

stickyback (label paper) also works well.  thankfully most number boards are black & white, so a laser printer works great.

Now I'd like to ask the next burning question for all you Shell Scale detailers, which size lettering font would fit? The 6', 8", or other sized?
