A list of N scale layouts on the web

A few years back I setup a google blogspot to act as a listing of N scale layouts that are on the web.  In opening the blog I did an interview with Gustav Chatterjee and his Wrightsville Port.  Since then the list has grown quite well.  Its main purpose is to serve as a list link with an occasional interview with the listed N layout owners. 

It has been awhile but I did a little housekeeping on the Nlayout.blog list today.  Surprisingly there were only 3 dead links.  I learned that one of our friends (Dwane Ward) had discontinued work on his layout.  I really enjoyed watching his progress.  I look forward to Dwayne’s return.   Also learned that Rick’s (Rick never gave me his last name so I assumed that is the way he preferred it) SP Cascade layout is a dead link.  A layout known as the Alligator lines was another of the dead links, if you know what happened to any of these perhaps you could contact me with an update, especially if it was just a move to an new web address. I would appreciate your help.

Some of my friend on the list have added the nlayout.blogspot.com list to there link list.  I hope those of you who have Nscale layout blogs and web pages will consider linking to it and encourage others to do the same.  Since its inception it has never been anything but a N scale layout navigation resource.

Bryan (Alligator Lines) passed away in the latter part of 2013.
His site can still be seen at: http://www.nscale.net/forums/al/index.html

Another modeler who passed away recently is Jamie of Lilburn, GA.
His layout is the CSX Dixie line.  As of now it's still up though.

I dont want to turn this into a memorial but I stopped reading  Trainboard to conserve my small amount of personal time. I totally missed Jamie's passing. His layout was truly a great work in progress and to say I had a few conversations there with him as it progressed. Even though it is a year and a half later I am still shocked by the knowledge he is gone. RIP Jamie Schatte.

That was Rick Daniels, who also passed away on July 10, 2013.  Another noteworthy individual and layout that showed some real talent from our community.

Jeff Thank you for the update on Rick.
Because this is a lifetime hobby for many if not most of us I guess I just go on thinking our friends will be there forever.  I tend to forget that we all are appointed an end.  I hope that our departed friends got a good final run in.

I felt the name of the layout needed to reflect what I am modeling.

I have continued to ad layouts to the N layout link list.  It has over 70 N scale links. 
If you are starting a new layout in 2015
Consider recording your efforts and sharing them in a blog and of course let me know so I can include it on the list.
