Was wondering how these cars are? Foobies or do they match the proto pretty decent? (Interested in the Southern) Has anyone here put body mount couplers on em? Thanks!

They are very accurate for a GSC flat. Athearn does paint them in non GSC schemes so you will need to check your prototype. I think IM has a new 53 flat out that may be a better match for eastern railroads.

Both the Athearn and InterMountain flats are prototypical.  As Dan stated, you have to check your prototype railroad to see if they had them.  You can body-mount couplers by drilling and tapping holes for #00-90 screws.
