I'm way ahead of you. I already tried to convert to PDF, but the picture quality was too degraded. I am unsure how to make the PDF with better image quality.

Too bad the signs aren't in a vector format.

I know that in Corel Draw I go into advanced settings when publishing to PDF and I can choose the bitmap down-sampling resolution (one choice is to leave it at the original resolution).  IIRC, default is 150 dpi. Not sure if similar advanced settings are available in whatever program you're using.

For my European layout, I made a special font out of the signs.



Depending on the colors, they are made up of individual characters in a specific order like the example below



Now I can print them out in what ever size I need them by changing the font size.

It would take some time but if there is interest, I could work on the US signs. I might need to narrow down which signs since it seems the US has about two to three times more signs than the internationals.

I just printed out my copies of the signs .I have converted them to PDFs.The red on the first page looks awful,and none of the yellows printed those signs are black and white.Now for the good news the handicap sign came out nicely and that was what I was really after.Some of the handicap signs look usable on my Z layouts (another plus).Daniel if I haven't said it yet "Thank you,sir."
