Let's see your locomotives that are built from a 3D printed shell, or engines that have printed parts or enhancements.  So feel free to show them off here and tell us about them!

I've designed and printed the NS admiral cab (for the standard sized cab and the one with a shorter nose), the NS cresent cab for SD60Es, and CSX SD40-3 cabs.




I've also had detail parts such as ditch lights, PTC antenna arrays, Conrail cab signal boxes, and other details.

Reese's SD40-3 cab looks much better this way.Now if I could just talk him into doing the HO version.

Here is my EMD DD35.  The shell and fuel tank are 3D printed and the handrails are etched brass.  The chassis is shortened Bachmann DD40AX, 3rd generation.



The walkway through the middle has also been cut through just like the original.
