Intermountain tunnel motor availability?

I was looking at M B Klein for Intermountain SD40T-2's and they no longer carry them, I make that statement by the fact that they advised me they would not be restocking the items, yet I see plenty of other Intermountain gear, freight in N and Freight and locos in HO.

I checked a couple of other stores and there appears to be a lack of availability/distribution, any one wise to what is going on?

In the age of limited runs, once an item sells out, that's it.

Doug,

I don't see it as limited runs, they are not stocking 'ANY' Intermountain N scale locomotives, other stores I have checked are very limited also, Intermountains own site shows heaps as being available, being in Australia, M B is a good source to deal with, many others won't deal outside the USA.

Ted,

If you look at the Intermountain Web site they say "contact your dealer" that is they do not have any in stock at the warehouse..As a dealer I have been caught with this wording
and was advised by Intermountain to check with them prior to ordering product.
By the way I have some in stock.

IM lists all SD40-2t's and SD45-2t's as "Contact your dealer" which means they have none so you need to go scavaging.

Off topic but the F7's are finally here!!!  "Shipping the week of March 10th" according to http://www.intermountain-railway.com/n/nloco/nlocf7.htm

I just checked and they no longer carry Atlas GP30's and GP35's, either. As said above, limited runs and when they're gone, they're gone.
