Removing Kato NW2 cab "glass"?

I'm breaking down the shell of this loco to strip the paint. Does anyone know if the cab glazing is glued in? I hope not. If you've done it, I'd like to know how you did it.

It’s not glued in, I know that for sure. I have dis-assembled two, but can’t recall the sequence.

If I remember correctly -- remove one of the side ones. Gently pry it out. Then the rest will fallow. 
mplsjct is correct -- on the Katos, the glass is not glued in. They are a snap fit.

Yeah, that is one of the great tings about Kato models - nothing is *EVER* glued. They are all assembled like challenging puzzles. Snap-fit baby!  :)

From what I remember, both side glass are connect across the top.  You can disengage one side an pull down but the puts a lot of pressure on the other side.  I believe I slightly disengage both sides (just so they pop out of the window openings) and then slide the piece straight down.  After that the bottoms of the front and rear windows should tip out and release.

Just don't force anything and you'll get it fine.

Ok great. Just glad they don't glue anything either, unlike Bmann and some Atlas. Just didn't want to break anything last night.
 I'l try later. Have to snowblow soon. :(

Jason, I went with your tip, after trying to pry out for a minute or so. I used a pair of soft-tip tweezers from MicroMark to push in the side windows, and they slid right out, as did the others.

Ah yeah, that's right.  I use a toothpick to maneuver through the windows.  Sorry I forgot that.

I thought a toothpick might scratch the plastic. All soaking in 91% alc. for now. Want to do it up for CNJ.
