The centerfold pic in the latest issue of NSR includes a model of the common UPS van.  Who made these?  Is it a Shapeways product?

I haven't seen the issue, but Arrowhead makes/made a solid resin casting kit of a parcel van.

Did not see the photo.  NJ International made a metal kit of the UPS Grumman Van, it must have been at least 20 years ago.  Will's Models on EBay has produced a resin version of a UPS type van.

I have them both. NJ International was made by a British company and it seems to be in 1:148 scale (still passable as one of the larger vans).  Not perfect but it has the familiar shape.

Willmodels van is more suitable as a FedEx truck.  It doesn't have the familiar rounded UPS van shape.  Speaking of UPS vans, some of the newer versions are fugly Frankensteins of spare parts put together.   Even uglier than the newest Dodge Sprinters.

One of my future projects is making the UPS van in N scale. But that won't happen for a while.  I have a feeling that someone else will beat me to it (not that it is a bad thing).  :)

I ordered one of the "Trains by Randy Brown" (Arrowhead) models.  It appears to be the model in the photo.  It's a solid resin piece, so I may hollow out the cab area if the model looks good overall.  We'll see.
