Z Scale Decals

I am looking for a source for z scale decals, either from a commercial source, or an individual with an Alps (do I have that correct?) printer. Right now, I am primarily interested in white C&O decals for their cabooses and hoppers (mid-late 1940's). I can supply the artwork. Any clues or info would be much appreciated.

Go to http://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/decals.htm and scroll down abound half way to a section titled "Custom decal companies".  That is a good size list of customer decal manufacturers who use Alps printers.  In US, I can personally recommend John Hagen, but others should be just as good.

But I suspect that some of the smaller Z scale lettering will be approaching the limits of Alps' print resolution.

Having the artwork ready in a vector graphic format (like AI, CDR or SVG) will dramatically reduce the cost (since it is the artwork preparation which is the most time consuming part of producing decals).

I can also recommend Tom - he actually makes and sells the blank decal paper used by many of the custom decal producers.

Thanks for the replies. After looking at the different sources you recommended, I think I'll try Dan's Resin Casting first.

Looking ad Dan's website it appears that he also uses the Alps printer.
