Ideas for a Kato undec baggage car

Hello,

A few months ago I got an undec Kato baggage car. I wanted to paint it for the C&NW.
Now that this car will be available in one of the Kato passenger sets shortly there is no need to do it on my own but I have no idea what to do with it instead.
Do you have some ideas? Something Midwestern... ?

Undoubtedly CNW occasionally added an extra baggage car to its consists, so why not just complete your project?

I'd wait to see the paint job Kato does.  You may still want to paint your own.

What era?  Railroads sometimes carried foreign baggage cars, usually in express service, so you might be a able to use it for another road you like.

I agree with Jason; there are a number of variations of schemes that you might want to do that add flavour to a consist.
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

All of my odd ball passenger cars (including an undec Kato baggage) end up in the box that has my Dimi-Train work train kits for some never-to-be completed fantasy MOW train.  Those kits are just too good not to own even if you don't need them.  :P

Lots of ideas to think about...

So this car would be ok for

C&NW
SOO
Fantasy MOW  :D

What about
NP
CP
CN
AC
MILW (but somehow I doubt it)

Illinois Central
Pennsylvania
New York Central,
Norfolk And Western
GTW
Santa Fe
Union Pacific
CB&Q

Think roads that only went as far east (or north) as Chicago. Couple years ago at Naperville Prototype modelers meet, some one did a clinic on secondary trains. I believe a train to the Boy Scout Jamboree had cars from at least 4 or 5 different roads, (though most were coaches or sleepers) What was the CNW 's previous paint scheme?
Just some more ideas
Rick

I don't know about baggage cars, but I do have mind to take an MT or Kato RPO and scale down the overall concept of the American Flyer operating mechanism.
