Just received a 10 pack of 423-1165-ND Dumbo speakers.  These are way smaller than I thought from looking at the YouTube videos.
No to contract with an installer.
 ;)
These look as if they could fit the tender of my Kato GS-4 as well as the B'mann EM-1s.
Just guessing.

John C.,  I hate to ask, but could you please post a documentary short on RW or TB showing how you made the offset sound box and what material you used. It sounded great. Please  ! ! !

Sounds great John!  I can hardly wait to use that EM-1 to switch the eastbound yard! :D

Hi Carl.

I'm out of town until next Tuesday, and can't do a video until after that.   But the process is simple.  I used .040 styrene for the sides.  I cut a long strip of this from a sheet.  The strip is 6mm wide.  I then cut two 25mm-long pieces from this strip and glued them to the long sides of the speaker using gel CA.  Then I glued on end pieces.  You now have a box with the speaker offset to one side.  I then glued 1/32 lead sheet to the bottom, after cutting a small notch for the wires to exit.  Then glued a small piece of the same lead sheet to the top to seal the offset side.  Done.  Will do video of this next week.
