Hi all,
RMC ran an article about the Edna tipple with a track diagram, December 1977. If I remember right, basically empties were spotted on one track uphill from the tipple. They were then rolled onto one of four loading tracks under the structure by gravity. When filled, the brakes were released and the car(s) rolled through one-way switches over a scale and then onto one of two tracks. When ready, new empties were brought in and the loads were assembled to head out.
