An SD60F (or SD50AF if you prefer) leads 149 through the curve at Lovekin. 16 years ago the 5503 was running around with a very large black splotch on the nose, and though someone over time went to some effort to remove it, traces linger on the nose (look below the noodle). I assume it was cleaned as the spot (which is what I nicknamed this unit... kept seeing it on transcon freights north of Toronto for a period in the late 90's) covered much of the noodle:

Quick phone grab of a BNSF surprise while we were en route to dinner. Too bad I wasn't shooting video, crew was all goofy waving at us and blowing the horn like crazy. They were having fun, evidently.
