My Dad and I took a trip to Strasburg yesterday to ride the morning steam mixed train and then take a shop tour.
I felt like I got a chance to experience something that I've been to before many times in a whole new way, and it was awesome. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend it.
Here are the pics from the incredible day.
Somehow they even managed to get NS in on the good timing:

Nice! That looked like a fun trip. I haven't been to Strasburg in probably 5 or so years, I really need to get down there! The mention of a shop tour reminds me of when my dad and I went up to Steamtown in March and their shop tour was excellent.

I rode the train years ago when they were running a Pennsy E6 4-4-2 but here are some photos from what they were running in 2007:
And at the time they were also packing up the visiting Thomas the Tank Engine:
