Its a week away and I couldn't be happier. This is the best train show in western North Carolina and it gets better every year. All proceeds from the show benefit the museum and restoration efforts of the Alexander Chapter- National Railway Historical Society, which includes the Southeastern Narrow Gauge & Shortline Museum, which is working hard to rebuild narrow gauge cars from the past.
