Not really looking to clone his though it is beautiful . At some time I will do something like it . Just passing on a thought .

You should reach out to Tim - if I remember reading the article he wrote about non-revenue cars in N-Scale Magazine, I believe he mentioned that he used Shapeways to create the tanks.  You might be able to get them that way...

Richie and I have actually corresponded on numerous occasions as he often used to fill in for me in the Atlas forum SNFF days.  I think that Richie was merely letting us know about an interesting new product and was reminded of my car when he saw it.  While the prototype is Japanese, it is obvious fodder for kitbashing as Richie suggests.

My tanks were indeed printed via Shapeways.  The fuel supply car is just back from a trip to the Nanaimo Train Show where it managed to win the Favourite Roling Stock Award.

I was just looking at the pictures of the finished car and, despite the use of Shapeways, I think this may have been one of the least complex projects he has done.

It's amazing how many pieces of unique and homebuilt rolling stock the PGE had running around in the corners of it's yards.
