I shot this in Calgary's CP Alyth yard.... and I want to model it (sans the graffiti)

It appears to be a Hawker Sidley Canadian grain car but I'm not sure.... anyone care to provide some advice about what RTR car I might start with (I actualy have Pillsbury decals)

Thanks !
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I'm thinking this (the cylindrical) is probably closest:

Vaguely reminds me of an Intermountain round hopper.

Don't even need the decals, just the patch

Mike:

I would suggest sending your photo to Dan at NARC/PWRS - he is very familiar with the spotting features for the different builders of these cars.  The Intermountain car is the NSC variant; the NARC model is the HSC version.

I think it is a Marine Industries 4650.

Yep, so the correct answer is "none of the above" (NARC - Hawker-Siddeley or Intermountain - NSC).

So pick your favourite stand in. Intermountain has an advantage here in that they do tons of stand in/foodie paint jobs on their NSC cylindrical, so they have Pilsbury in their lineup.
