CSX posted this on Facebook.  Good info for all of those modeling modern CSX.  I'm a little surprised of the per centage number of gons.

I can't see the infographic at work, but I imagine the proportion of gons that you're seeing is because modern rotary coal cars are considered "Gondolas".

I thought of that.  Probably the case as most CSX coal trains I see have them.

Definitely coal gons.  I assume 'multi-levels' means auto racks. I'm surprised how many of those they have too, and it reinforces my desire for Red Caboose to do another run of CSX racks.

I wonder why the list is almost, but not actually, ordered by fleet size...

My first thought was scrap gons, given CSX's reputation for putting stuff on the ground.
