UP turbine #50 progress

While in Tulsa for work, i decided that it was time for turbine 50 to be made.
It has been lowered alot as the CC shell is WAY too tall. Basically the whole body has to be redone.

It will be going to jason for casting. The side intakes are next but i have etched brass gridwork that will fix this.

Cool , might just get me one . Think about the standard one too . Why Con-Cor or any aftermarket manufacturer hasn't re-dressed the Veranda is nuts .

If i have grill material left, ill look at using the extra shell for an early 4500hp but theyre too late of an era for me so theyre lower on the list. Hell, 1949 when the dual cab turbine was on cajon is too late for me but i can fudge a year or 2 i guess.

Got some progress done. First layer of putty but its starting to look good with the recessed intake grids.
