It's a prototype that hasn't been released in N, so this is a new model.  The "duplicate/copycat" statement is inaccurate.  That's clearly obvious given that there currently is but one 52' gondola on the market in the form of BLMA's ACF prototype.

I see in the RMJ article a picture of one of the DT&I cars, which Conrail later acquired, and it appears to match the TWX model.  So I look forward to the eventual Conrail release.  A Conrail Ex-ROCK paintout also would be cool.  Are there any online photos of CR ex-ROCK paintout gons?

Not what your looking for, though I've a few (poor) grab shots I took a few years ago of ex. RI gons on a passing CN freight with private owner reporting marks. Will have to dig them up to see if they are the same car. IIRC, they were blue at some point, but you really have to look to tell!

There are a few photos of the ex-Rock Conrail cars on the CRHS web site.  These are the paintout cars that Exactrail modeled with their HO release.  They are really stunning.  Thanks.

Is the Atlas Evans gon a 52'?

Straight from the Atlas past products page:  N Evans 52'6" Gondola

Hmm... straight from the
refrigerator: 2 pounds of
termite goulash...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Leave Bryan alone  :D

There are so many different styles of gons that another one, at the proper ride height, with body mounted couplers, metal wheels, and a ton of roads to choose from, is always welcome.

I wish this was more of a classic CR gon, but I will take what I can get. At least it will break up the wall of MDC gons.

I have not yet found any of the 1980 ex-RI gons (class G52E) in CR paint-out...  CRHS shows them all in 1995 in full Conrail regalia.  Was there another series besides the ex-DT&I cars that came later?
