After having spent a necessary interval of time ignoring N scale (and attempting to sell the modules with little success), I've decided that if I'm not getting my initial investment back in cash (to spend on 2-rail O) I might as well enjoy what I've got.

The modules, I've already cut off all the original nickel-silver catenary, and will be rearranging how all the switches are laid out, before reinstalling new phosphor-bronze catenary.
The rolling stock, I'm already deep into the process of installing body-mount couplers and FVM wheels on the undamaged stuff; and sorting the remainder into several piles: Fix, Parts, Trash, and Missing.

For addressing a few things in the Fix pile, does anyone have spare atlas CR/PC B23-7 or SD35 shells?

Stop drawing modifications to layout plan and start executing modifications to layout plan.....

Ah yes! I suppose I should add this to my resolution too.

Stop watching UNSTOPPABLE

Unstoppable is to railroading as Days of Thunder was to NASCAR. It's terrible. But for some reason I do enjoy watching it.

1 - Prioritize projects and work on getting them done
2 - Get a regular ops session scheduled at least quarterly
3 - work on, and maybe complete an N trak module.

4 - Publish a couple more articles, keep the column running in the right direction.

5 - Drink more beer.

Allow my dispatchers to finally be able to say, "Signal indication," to my train crews.  My signal project is underway, and the goal is to have it completed before the end of 2012.
