Summit is looking good!...although it may go faster if you used foam...LOL
That bridge is really fantastic.
(Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) Finished the fascia at Summit tonight, and mocked up the Touch Toggles' controls and signage. I like it. The fascia material is a washable, self-adhesive textured wall paper, and it's much more warm and beige looking than the pics.Otto K.

Hate, hate, HATE mechanical connectors! Why worry about mechanical connectors coming loose, bad crimps, or corrosion when there is perfectly good solder and irons around? It may look pretty, but (IMHO) is not worth the trouble dealing with it.
That's the first time I've seen these Touch Toggles installed. I like the clean appearance. Also, nice idea to use wallpaper for the fascia.
It depends on the installer. we have some really neat wiring experts here on TRW. Bob Gilmore is one of them. His wiring looks like a work of art. There are few others whose names I don't recall, but I remember seeing photos of their impeccable wiring jobs. Friend of mine is also really neat when it comes to his layout wiring. No surprise there - he worked for IBM for around 30 years and he installed and serviced their mainframe computers.Remember, neat wiring is much easier to troubleshoot than a rat's-nets later on when something is not working properly.
