Colorado Silver Mining

I realize that most of you are 1950's and up modelers. I have a Z scale multi structure kit I had produced, its a replica of a real silver mine from Leadville, Colorado called the Matchless Mine. Has quite a story behind it, rags to riches to rags again. Baby Doe Tabor, the owner's widow died in the cabin as an older woman, a pauper. But in its hey day it was one of the richest mines in the area. I have been entertaining the thought of making some of the structures in N scale. It was hard to get "just right" in 1/220 with the materials vs scale thickness but has been popular regardless. I've been itching to do them in N eventually. Any interest? No, there wouldn't be track or the ore carts.

I'm definitely interested.  Although my model of the PRR runs through Clear Creek Canyon and then down the Blue River, the theoretical railroad would have had a branch line to Leadville courtesy of the C&S (former D,SP,&P).  In fact, the branch over the Fremont Pass would have been fairly short from the mainline running through Dillon and Frisco.  Either way, I'd love to have a true Colorado silver mine on the layout, even if I have to put it in the wrong valley.
