After a thorough review of our forward planning and business objectives, Bowser Manufacturing Company Inc.  has decided to sell the tooling for all formerly manufactured Steam Locos, Cary, Arbour, Selley and O & Standard Gauge wheels, HO, S and O Turntables and O Gauge Trolley cars.





I. Tooling includes the following:
1.    Steam Locos, dockside, Baby Trainmaster and Aero Train
includes new locos in development:   PRR K-5, USRA,  Heavy 2-8-2, 2-10-0, 4-6-2, 4-6-4
2.    Selley Finishing Touches HO and O

Wow, very disappointed! I have 7 of their PRR & PRSL cabins and many H21 hoppers. I was hoping they would relent and come through with a N scale PRSL AS-16 in spite of their denials (they also denied doing N scale N5s when they brought out the HO version).

Rick, re-read the above. They're divesting specific parts of their product line, not shutting down.

Note that there is absolutely no mention of their freight car or diesel lines. And since they're actively developing new locomotives (eg the C630s that just came out, and it's been confirmed that they've got the M636 in the pipes over the next couple years) they're not going anywhere yet.

I went to Bowser last weekend and inquired about the items for sale. I learned, they're selling off the older metal item molds and parts only, as mentioned in their posting.
