Easier to do if you are modeling the current era.  Most of the buildings in the era (1960's) I model are long gone.

Any updates Dave?

Ughh....not really. It got displaced from the workbench at Christmas time when a 5000 piece dollhouse got delivered to the house for my sweet little girl. Not my idea (from family) and I am still working on the @#%^$ thing. If she just weren't so darn cute...

In the mean time I have thought about flipping the orientation of my plans. Originally the C-House was to be along the front of the module, with the Schlitz Elevators/Brewhouse etc against the backdrop. This would be the perspective of being along the Milwaukee River looking west. The problem is that this is such a big building it would require a very deep scene to fit everything (3 feet or more). If  I reorient things, the elevators would be along the front edge and the C-house and Pabst elevator would be along the backdrop (the brewhouse would be not be modeled). This would also work for the Trostel tannery building as well (where I want to include for the nasty hide boxcars). The downside is that the Roller Coaster track would be "downhill" when viewed from the front of the module. This is a bit non-traditional as we typically design things that slope up from the front edge, but maybe that would work.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
