Kato Announces the ES44AC “GEVO” GE Demonstrator #2005

Correct wide front and rear handrails, three vent DB, low number boards,  and Self-steering trucks. FVM only has two of this, the trucks and numberboards . So I wait for the Kato ones since I realy don't care if it already has the molded grabirons or not.

It looks to me like the Kato won't have the wide handrails or the 3 DB vents either, according to the Kato artwork:

Has Kato announced a version with the 3 DB vents and wide stanchions?    If not then your only option is to scratchbuild,  but handrails and an additional DB vent don't seem like they would be too hard.

Wait for pictures of the actual model, that just a drawing to show the paint scheme.

The last Kato CSX GE was correct so they already have the front and rear handrails.

And they have this line on the ES44AC page
"Multiple body styles to reflect different "as delivered" railroad specifications ".

 GE 2005 also has the three vent DB, the only other AC ES they have announced so far that does.
