Yeah, but she won't like kill you for good or nothing, so don't worry. She'll just frown and make a snide remark, maybe even raise her voice a little. Now is the time to start taking notes on her own spendthrift tendencies. You have a lot of time to record some good ammo as these will not be released until the fall at the earliest.

Thanks Chuck! I get so tired of hearing that comment at the shop, but the funny thing is most wives I know might do what you say, but most don;t mind too much. Probably because the fine art of give and take is alive and well. She gives in to your hobby and you take her to the mall or .............

Or in my case she goes around telling all our co-workers and friends about my "doll houses for men" hobby.  That she can do that creates all sorts of satisfaction, and thus I can get all sorts of rewards.

Hmmm, Chulvis is going into a sideline now, either spine replacement or running a halfway house for men in marital crisis?

There is quite a bit of excitement on these....I must say intermodal ops are looking pretty tempting.

Chuck says not to worry about it. I hear "don't worry Russ, if she kicks you out, you can come live here rent free and work at FRTS for $50K per year."

Just ask Ed or Sean about "Sarge"

The only F89j I can find in the June 1966 ORER is from the 600910 to 601198 for a total of 289 cars. They are listed as a new addition.

By Jan '69 number had grown to 1617 cars with the number series ending with 602533.

Does anyone had a mid-68 ORER that could look up where the series was up to then?

$50K and anything I want at cost?  8)  That might be tempting!
