Picked up four units today; a AB set of Canadian National Green and Black F's; an A unit in CPR tuscan and another A unit in CN zebra; all run flawlessly in DC; all have the same great detail as the FP7's (although I think the handrails are still way to far out) and all have great; sharp and accurate paint......EXCEPT.....................

The CN zebra stripes are white...........they should be a light gray.........not white............I can't be too hard on IM; I think dang near everyone makes this error, but "@$#@%#!%#!%@#!" can't anyone other than Kato get it right ?

But those green and black CN's are breathtaking.........so I'm a happy camper - the Super Continental will look awesome behind them..........

(Ok; someone tell me I'm wrong......LOL)
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I sent them an email regarding the white that they put on the pre-production SD40-2W. Not sure if they will heed my warning, but they did not respond. Wrong on the FP9, wrong on the SD45T-2. Before we all poop on IM, Atlas has continuously done the same on all it's CN zebra units... most recently the GP38-2. It's well docummented that it is not white, yet it is a continual problem for many mfg's to get it right.
