Actually, I designed that from the ground up using ASF drawings and Griffin wheel profile drawings (provided by Amsted)... note the correct profile on the front of the wheel, and the correct profile on the back, something I'm proud to say is a first for N scale.

Same difference. Designer must deal with the fact that the builder wants to sell item, the proceeds from which will pay the designer... It's a vicious cycle...
Okay... it's a food chain thing. Still, the designer is at the bottom of the totem pole! Been there done that. Owner wants X, contractor says X can't be built, owner tells designer to design X so it can be built, Builder says Y would be cheaper, Designer lays out a buildable X, but it requires the rest of the building to shift 6" to the right. Owner says build Y but call it X, and designer doesn't get paid for all the revisions. Very simple game!Lee
