Here's one I caught eastbound at Sterling a few years ago-No idea as to it's
heritage, or where it was coming from or going. I also think it's at least a 45
tonner.

That's interesting, was there anything else on the other articulated flats?

The journals sit almost even with the cab. On the other units there is at least 10" between vertical line (ends) of the cab and the journals themselves.

Mike, I usually don't give much attention to flats unless they have an interesting
load such as this one, which was between an autorack & a gon-if there were
more on the train, I didn't catch them. Here's another view, uncropped:

Geez , that blue reminds me of the blue jar paint we used in  the 1950's grade skool . ::) Forget the name of that stuff .... tempera or placenta colors , or something like that .

The cropping on the first photo tricked me.  Interesting single flat.
