Alcon,
What color have you guys found that matches the Kato silver they use on their RDC equipment?

Thanks,

Original Budd releases with speckled silver paint, Polly Scale Stainless Steel.

New reflective finish on sets (Super Chief, Cal Zephyr) Alclad II Chrome (must airbrush) with top coat of Testor's Metallizer sealer.

Or if you are just touching up a reflective set, mix some black into the Polly Scale Stainless steel to darken it a tad and it will blend in well on small sections.

What about the RDC's specifically?

Thanks this is a great help!

The Pollyscale straight up should work on the RDC's, just thinking about when they were released.  I haven't looked at one in awhile.

For any that were following this thread....

I found that Pollyscale Stainless Steel is a hair too "blue" compared to Kato Silver on the RDC's. A much better match is Model Master Acrylic Stainless Steel. It comes out with sparkles but after a light dusting of satin clear coat it is almost not discernible.
