Still in Veracruz in early 1962, chasing trolleys.

Former Pacific Electric 307 prepares to depart the carhouse.

A former Mexico City car swings by our hotel window early in the morning.

Here's an unusual private right of way, between street and sidewalk!

I've got still more from Veracruz for next week.

Some stuff from the past weekend:
The NS Geo train at Duncannon

Blue Mac Attack at Lewistown:

AMTRAK sure is different when you get away from the NEC! Here's the once daily eastbound train boarding passengers in Lewistown:

And lots of blue the next day:

And some black, but it's interesting because it was the Port Road:

Almost forgot my new e-bay photo:

That first bridge is the B&O, right behind it is the Erie's "canal branch" to the left would be were the Erie crossed the B&O to get to Youngstown Steel Door.

This whole area is freeways now. The B&O bridge is still there. The Erie bridge was removed last year.

Lol, DON'T buy a Finepix S3000.

It's what I've got, and I'm really NOT happy with the image quality. Zoom in on one of my shots and see how crappy the actual image clarity is. It's terrible.

I'm actually thinking about finding a replacement. My first thought was a Digital rebel (what Sean shoots with) because it's a "big boy camera", but more and more I'm thinking that maybe I'm OK with something that's NOT an SLR for a number of reasons.
