Ed and Lee - You got to get the latest issue of TRP.  Good article and photo spread on the western end of the WM.

O.K., I'm an idiot.  I picked up the issue of TRP at a Borden's Book in the magazine rack.  Just checked the date and it's a May/June 1995 issue.  Don't know why it was in the new mag section in the store.  Anywho - if you can get a copy it's well worth it.  Cover had a circus color F.  Article if "Western Maryland, The Connellsville Extension" by Thomas A. Biery.  Again, my apologies on the date mixup.

I've got that one.  Picked it up on ebay about a year ago.  Very good stuff.
Ed, you're too kind...  But thanks for the nod.  That would be the WVC's living legends on a photo runby...
Gotta love that old BL.

Lee:

Here's a shot I took at Overlook yesterday.  Check out the reporting marks (LVRR).  I know the Lehigh Valley is long gone so I was thinking your Laurel Valley done and went 1-1 scale and your making a little extra cash renting out cars:

Quick search reveals LVRR is Lycoming Valley RR.

But they have managed to get by without ditch lights!

I think the ditch light requirement is only if you're operating over 25mph over crossings, or something like that.
